Why we create
4th Floor Balcony is an independent creative studio telling stories about the journey to freedom.
Our films explore the moments when ordinary people confront the burdens that have shaped their lives and discover the courage to choose something different. Whether those burdens are physical, emotional, societal, or generational, we believe the most powerful stories are those that reveal what becomes possible when people reclaim themselves.
Through intimate, character-driven films, we create stories rooted in hope, resilience, and emotional truth. Stories that invite audiences to see themselves, to feel deeply, and to leave changed.
Because the stories that stay with us are often the ones that set us free.
Our Founder
